Solution Overview
India's first indigenous anti-drone system was developed by BEL in collaboration with Rug-Rel Components and Systems, bringing together detection, tracking, and response functions in a single rugged field-ready platform.
The solution is designed for end-to-end 360 degree coverage with both soft-kill and hard-kill capability. It integrates RF jammers and a laser-based kill system to identify and neutralize hostile drone activity.
Rug-Rel designed and delivered the radar computer for this system as a 3U VPX-based platform dedicated to radar data processing and signal data processing in demanding operational environments.
